Wow! WHOA! "House" aardvark? "Field" aardvark? A bit dicey there, guys.

Just sayin'...

Just got four CEREBUS IN HELL? strips mocked up by Eddie Khanna that made us both laugh, so we're going to be using those -- and on the same basis where we don't credit the writing...

(although we DO credit anyone joining the "Paint Dept.": our volunteers -- and thank you all! -- who are photoshopping my strips from my mock-ups. So it's not a perfect anonymity system. You can properly infer that if there's a photoshopping credit, it's one of mine) (but not necessarily the inverse since Sandeep is photoshopping a bunch of my strips and not crediting himself)

...although Eddie is welcome to credit himself when we run the four that he did.

So, WIDE OPEN OFFER: if you want to do a CEREBUS IN HELL? strip and help me and Sandeep "run ahead of the freight train", all you have to do is make us laugh and your IN! Mail printed out copies to me or e-mail them to Sandeep.

Jeff Seiler - This is probably another good place to mention another CEREBUS IN HELL? policy that I've been mulling over. Obviously, I don't think the right way. I was thrown out of society twenty years ago because I don't think the right way.

So here's another WIDE OPEN OFFER on CEREBUS IN HELL? If you read a strip and you're offended by it to the extent that you think IT SHOULD NOT EXIST and you KNOW THAT YOU'RE A PERSON WHO THINKS THE RIGHT WAY, just let me know and I'll be happy to make that strip NOT EXIST. Never again to be seen by human eyes online or in any reprint form. Ever! We'll keep a log of the original posting date and we'll just say in any of the reprint collections: "The CEREBUS IN HELL? strip that originally appeared on this date has been made to not exist at the behest of [your name here], a person who KNOWS THEY THINK THE RIGHT WAY".

Oh, you're more than welcome. Thank YOU for performing such a useful service here in our Feminist Theocracy!

Well, Dave, far be it for me to suggest censorship. And, I think that the strip itself was pretty funny. I was just reacting because those two words clearly parallel (or instantly bring to mind) a different phrase that includes "the N word". I wasn't offended, just observing the inherent riskiness in writing that blurb.

Furthermore, I can see that the strip itself can be seen as (or is) a Pogo-esque commentary on the stridency of the Black Lives Matter movement. Therefore, it serves a useful purpose in a humorous manner and should not be censored. Would that more people would take this approach to commenting on the behavior of Black Lives Matter activists, which behavior is ripe for social commentary and satire.

I'll be very curious to see who ends up being the first RIGHT-THINKING PERSON who wants to make a piece of creative work not exist because they're offended by it.

I figure we can keep the DO NOT EXIST CIH? strips in the same digital file with Steve Ditko's letters. :)
